The corn crib, used to store food for farm animals, was originally part of the Courtland B. and Alice L. Darrow farm on Boston Post Road. In July of 1982, the corn crib was moved to its present location after being donated to the Society by Katherine Darrow Porter, Courtland's grand niece. The structure's formerly open slatted sides were enclosed to keep out the weather.
